Why did god created animals?

Throughout the Bible, there is evidence that God created animals for a variety of purposes. One primary purpose was to provide companionship and connection to his people. He created animals so that people could enjoy their company and build relationships with them. He wanted them to be a source of joy for His children.

In addition to companionship, God created animals to teach us about Him.
