Comparative morphological data was obtained from the original descriptions of other Vietnamophryne species, including V. inexpectata, V. occidentalis, and V. orlovi.

Measurements and proportions of the type series of Vietnamophryne vuquangensis are presented in Table 3.

A total of 40 morphological measurements were taken, including finger disk diameters and toe disk diameters.
