Retired membership

Any person of good moral character, who at the time of making application is retired from service within the jurisdiction of this Association as set forth in Article II of this Constitution and By-Laws, will be eligible for active membership in this Association.

Anyone eligible for membership in the Association shall not be refused membership, or upon acceptance, be discriminated against because of race, color, creed, national origin, gender, and sexual orientation or by reason of disability.

Youth membership

To create opportunities for Chief Officers to share best practices, network, and provide promotional training through education, mentorship, and leadership development. The Caucus will strive to provide its peers at a senior level a perspective from the Hispanic experience in the fire service.

 NAHF Chiefs Caucus

To create opportunities for Chief Officers to share best practices, network, and provide promotional training through education, mentorship, and leadership development. The Caucus will strive to provide its peers at a senior level a perspective from the Hispanic experience in the fire service.

Associate Membership

Any person who supports the principles and objectives of the Association is eligible to become an associate member of the Association upon payment of the applicable membership fee as set by the National Executive Board of Directors. An associate member may Attn:d the business meetings of the Association, but may not hold and elective office or have a vote.

Corporate Member

Business entities, non-profit corporations and other organizations that wish to associate with the National Association of Hispanic Firefighters and support its work may become a Corporate Associate by contributing $1,000 dollars or more annually to the Association.

Honorary Member of the NAHF

For meritorious service to the Association or distinguished public service, persons may be elected to honorary membership by majority vote of the National Executive Board of Directors, local or other subordinate Hispanic Firefighters, or convention representatives. Such membership shall entail no payment of initiation fees, dues or other charges, and shall convey no voice or vote in the affairs of the Association or any of its subordinate associations. Such memberships are subject to revocation for good cause.
