The famous African American figure, Booker T. Washington, once said “If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else.” Volunteering is one of the best things you can do, not only for others, but for yourself as well. The best part about volunteering with the National Association of Hispanic Firefighters is that you get to double the normal effects of volunteering because you would be helping us help others. As firefighters, we are constantly thinking of new and innovative ways that we can help our communities. Most of the time, this requires a lot of hard work and dedication and even though it’s for a good cause, we could always use a little more help.

When you volunteer with the NAHF, you can be sure that all of your hard work is going to a worthy cause. As a volunteer, you will learn what the daily life of a firefighter is like along with the tremendous responsibilities we take on for our community. We invite you to share these responsibilities and receive the rewards that come with it as well. To learn more about volunteering with the NAHF, we have provided you with a complete schedule of the different events we could use your help for. That way, you can plan around your own schedule and decide which event would be best for you. Also on this website, you will find an application to volunteer with our organization. If you believe you have what it takes and have a strong desire to help others, you can go ahead and fill the application out and send it in to us.
