The Mission of the Chief's Caucus.
To create opportunities for Chief Officers to share best practices, network, and provide promotional training through education, mentorship, and leadership development. The Caucus will strive to provide its peers at a senior level a perspective from the Hispanic experience in the fire service.
Nominations and Terms of Office
Nominations for officers shall be held in the same manner as the Executive Board (see Nominations and Elections in the by-laws) The Chair shall hold the position for one (1) year. The Vice Chair will assume the Chair's position after the one year has ended or sooner if the chair resigns his/her position.
The term of office for the Chair and Vice Chair shall commence immediately upon the adjournment of the Annual Meeting of the NAHF Chiefs Caucus. Upon vacancy of the Vice-Chair position, the Chair shall appoint a Vice-Chair to fill the remainder of the previous Vice-Chair's term. This shall not preclude those persons from a full-term in either position subsequent to the appointment.

The chair is responsible for facilitating NAHF Chiefs Caucus networking events, fundraising, meetings, and other programs. The Chair is also responsible for representing the Chiefs Caucus and its interests at all NAHF Board meetings via physical presence or conference call.
Chair Elect
The Chair Elect is responsible for assisting NAHF Chiefs Caucus in networking events, fundraising, meetings, and other programs as delegated to by the Chair.
Secretary

The Secretary is responsible for recording the minutes of all meetings, and scheduling of meetings. The Secretary also provides support for fundraising efforts.
Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for creating Budgets, financial Reports, and Maintaining Accounting principles and managing the caucus bank accounts. The Treasurer will work with the NAHF Executive Treasure on all issues.
