City of Gallatin Firefighter Position Available
The CITY OF GALLATIN is currently taking applications for City firefighter
positions funded by a federal grant. Minorities and women are encouraged to apply.
Applicants shall possess an appropriate driver’s license valid in the State of Tennessee, High School
diploma or GED, and shall successfully pass a physical exam and drug screen. Must be willing to relocate
to within 45-minutes of downtown Gallatin.
The following skills are preferred: Commissioned Firefighters from State of Tennessee, Firefighting
Certifications from accredited fire school, Certified as First Responders/EMTs.
Firefighters are subject to 24-hour rotating shifts. Competitive salary and excellent benefits, depending on
qualifications. Aptitude and physical agility tests will be administered to final candidates as part of the selection process.
