About the NAHF
Who We Are!
Since 1995, The National Association of Hispanic Firefighters (NAHF) has continued to
encourage diversity within the United States fire service so that we (as a fire service) can better
serve all of the communities throughout our nation.
The NAHF is committed to enhancing fire and life safety services throughout the country through recruitment,
training, mentorship and career development of women and men firefighters of all race, color, religion,
creed, social or economic background to best reflect and serve others in time of need.
Our goal is to also encourage fire departments to take a proactive approach to prevent harm through bilingual
fire and life safety programs to reduce the loss of life and property.
The NAHF is proud to also sponsor several strategic partnerships between various United States fire departments
and several fire departments in Latin America to enhance training and safety of our brothers and sisters on
the job in other parts of the world.

The National Association of Hispanic Firefighters is dedicated to promoting firefighters through recruitment,
professional development, community advocacy, and building fellowship amongst all firefighters.
We will provide the highest level of service to our communities by valuing our members, promoting positive leadership development

The NAHF stands committed to the recruitment, retention and advancement of all Firefighters and members of the association, civilian and volunteers by developing and conducting unbiased and culturally aware programs.Strategic Management
